Starting point
As in most firms: documents arrived by e-mail, details by phone or on paper. If something was missing, a follow-up question went to the client — and often a second one before a case was complete.
Solution
A client page of its own under the firm's domain. Clients start there without an account, answer the questions of a workflow, upload documents and sign the power of attorney digitally — the firm sees everything in one place.
Its own client page
At workflows.zepf-taxes.ch, in the firm's own look — logo, colours, wording. crosstax stays in the background.
Published workflows
The firm has enabled the workflows its clients need:
Power of attorney with e-signature
The power of attorney for Switzerland and for Germany is completed in the workflow and signed digitally via wesign; the signed version is filed with the case.
Files in Switzerland
The firm chose Switzerland as its storage location: documents, generated PDFs and templates are kept there, with a backup in the same country.
Result
What the firm says — verbatim, as approved:
“crosstax stellt für uns eine signifikante Vereinfachung und Zeitersparnis dar. Wir arbeiten weit effizienter, da die mehrfachen Rückfragen beim Kunden grösstenteils entfallen.”Our translation from the German
“For us, crosstax represents a significant simplification and time saving. We work far more efficiently, as the repeated follow-up questions to the client are largely eliminated.”

This page describes the firm's setup as it is in operation today; the firm's statement is quoted verbatim and attributed to the firm.
